Graduate Assistant
Katya graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology.
In 2022, Katya joined the FMI Program at the CFSRE as the forensic toxicology mentor for the summer program. In 2023, she started her Master of Science degree in Forensic Toxicology from Thomas Jefferson University. Katya is working as a Graduate Assistant at the CFSRE under the NPS Discovery Program Toxicology team as well as the teaching assistant for the Analytical Forensic Toxicology Fall Laboratory course.
