With its popularity on television and in the media, the CFSRE believes forensic science is a tool that can be used to engage youth in science. Through our various STEM and outreach initiatives, the CFSRE provides career exploration and training opportunities for students of all ages.
The CFSRE partners with many area schools to provide innovative forensic science activities to supplement classroom curricula, including development of mock crime scenes, guest speaking engagements, laboratory field trips, enhanced hands-on laboratory activities, curricular review, and teacher training.
