Business Manager
Christopher Haydon joined the Center for Forensic Science Research & Education team as Business Administrator with more than 10 years in the accounting field with experience in both for-profit and non-profit companies including financial reporting, annual audits and annual tax filings.He received both his bachelor’s degree and Master of Accountancy from Rutgers University.
In his previous role as an Accounting Manager, Christopher worked with a start-up company and was able to help implement financial systems and accounting procedures successfully. His role also included oversight over month end close processes, payroll and cash management. During this time, he was also able to work with a public charity associated with the start-up company and gained valuable experience in the world of not-for-profit accounting.
During 2020 and 2021, at his previous position, Christopher successfully applied and received a fully forgiven Payroll Protection Plan loan as well as several employee retention credits during the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrating regulation compliance and detailed reporting.
