Forensic Chemist I
Alexandra graduated from Cedar Crest College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and forensic science. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in forensic science from the same institution in 2022, where she was honored with the Outstanding Forensic Science Student Award at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her graduate research focused on characterizing twenty PCP analogues using a range of analytical techniques and developing a chromatographic separation method across three different systems. Alexandra had the privilege of presenting her research at the 2022 AAFS Annual Meeting.
Following graduation, Alexandra joined a GxP laboratory as a chemist, where she was responsible for processing hazardous drug samples, developing and executing instrument qualifications, and conducting testing in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. In 2024, she joined the CFSRE as a forensic chemist where she works on a variety of projects including drug checking, sentinel, toxic adulterants, and assisting with the internship program.
