A standard addition is a type of quantitative analysis approach whereby the standard is added directly to the aliquots of analyzed sample.Various scientific areas use standard addition, like internal calibration model and external calibration model. Mechanism to provide accurate and reliable quantitative results in the absence of a traditionally validated assay, such as NPS or rarely encountered substances.
Experiments are focused on analytical methods, spiking mixes (the internal standard), and sample preparation protocol (SOP). Some examples are: the SCIEX TripleTOF® 5600+ LC-MS/MS System, Column, mobile phase, and gradient, MRM transitions / MS parameters, Isotonitazene and fentanyl-D5 / 0.1 and 1 ng/µL, and Liquid-liquid extraction.
