Maggie Wurster is from Salish Kootenai College on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana. She is a Junior majoring in Environmental Health and has done several research projects. Currently, she is studying the gene expression changes in breast cancer cells after BPA treatment and was involved in analyzing the gut microbiome compositions of necrophagous insects. After graduation, she plans to get her master's and start a career in Forensic Toxicology.
