We are pleased to announce that we have opened registration for the fully archival, On-Demand version of the NPS Discovery: 2024 Novel Synthetic Drugs Threat Symposium from November 11th - November 13th, 2024. The event consisted of ten panels of invited experts on all aspects of new and emerging drugs, and the proliferation of new toxic adulterating substances. This hybrid event was offered live at the Science History Institute in Downtown Philadelphia, and virtually in real time.

CFSRE presented a reprise of its 2018 NPS Symposium, with the goal of bringing together international thought leaders and scientists, policy makers, health professionals, public health and public safety stakeholders working in or impacted by Novel Synthetic Drugs Crisis. The program will have a focus on global impacts of NPS. Professionals from across the world will share current knowledge on NPS trends and emerging threats, review of tools and workflows that have developed over recent years and will work together to imagine and anticipate some of the challenges in NPS in the years ahead.
Over the course of the three days, ten panels of invited international experts representing the latest work on novel synthetic drug pharmacology, detection and identification, harm reduction initiatives based on analytical drug checking data, and many other topics.
The goal of the symposium is to encourage information exchange, improve international cooperation and communication on the increasingly important topic of new and emerging drugs, and to share new discoveries, best practices, and insights not what is coming next in the world of new and emerging drug threats.
